NYC is known to be overpriced, having rooms that are super tiny and most of the hotels are known for having very old structures.

Well, that is not the case with W in Times Square. The hotel is very nice and has hipster vibes. I loved this futuristic hotel and the nicely done rooms.
Once you get to the hotel, you have to take an elevator to go to the lobby, and once the doors of the elevator open, you realize how cool the hotel is.

The front desk team was very nice, very polite and respectful too.
Our room was fantastic, with an incredible city view. The internet was fast enough, amenities were awesome, gym was excellent and you also had an exclusive access to the restaurants, which was amazing.
The location was fabulous too.

We decided to stay at W New York - Times Square, because it was suggested by many followers to me, as it was close to Times Square and offered good views of the city. Also, it was within walking distance of the places we planned to visit. This place is perfect for the people who enjoy street life and extra energy. It’s also the most convenient location as subways, tourist buses, taxis, bike rides, carriage rides which were super fun, restaurants and shopping places were just steps away from the hotel. Starbucks was just in front of the hotel door for our morning coffee. The only part I was missing was a dine-in option, which was not available in the hotel.

Just note that New York is a very expensive city and if you don't choose the right hotel at the right location, you could end up spending hundreds of bucks in taxis to roam around the city. This is where we made the mistake and ended up spending $600 for taxis  in just 2-3 days. Later we used tourist buses, subways and bikes which were cheaper and more convenient and just 3-5 minutes away from W hotel. So, keeping a close eye on your traveling expenses might save you fortunes when traveling around the city.
