Winter season, as she approaches gracefully towards the end of the year, yes we know she is cold but also has an inner message in her, to search for warmth!

She is known to be a season of cold, snow, festivals and comes exquisitely to witnesses a beautiful ending of the year and to embrace a new beginning. Every season comes with its unique smell and so does winter with its heavenly touch of fog, mist and snow which is exhilarating and luminous.

As I stroll down the snowy pathway the icy air whistles around my ears, causing my skin to tingle. Snug inside my winter clothing, nothing can stop the overwhelming feeling of walking back to childhood. Every step I take leaves a fresh, crisp footprint in the snow, as if I am the only person to have ever been here. Everything glistens, as if a fairy has sprinkled her dust over the entire world. Colors are brighter against the pure white blanket that spreads as far as the eye can see.

Magic is falling as the snow bursts through the cloud and surrounds everything. The flakes lightly touch my face, attaching my lashes and tickling my nose. The snow covers the bare branches of the trees with its cold white blanket giving them back their lost beauty. This surrounding snow brings silence, enchantment and wonders with it. Standing outside in awe, head lifted to the sky and arms out I try to comprehend and embrace it. I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darling, till the summer comes again.”

The rain of snow brings me back from my dreamy world to my realistic world. My world, realistic yet beautiful, the world of fashion. Here I follow one rule “No matter how you feel. Get up, dress up and show up. And when I dress up and show up or I dress up someone else it will always be the right way, following the right rules of dressing like the forecast for the particular season along with the wearer’s body type, likings and occasion. Seasonal forecast which predicts the trends in vogue helps you create new and unique styles.

As we talk about seasons and forecasts let us have a look at the current season which is winter and what it has in store for us. Fashion weeks of 2016 from New York, London, Milan and Paris, each one of the fashion cities working like a charm and pushing forward its own vision over feminine allure and charisma. And the runway shows identify the major shades by using Pantone Color Institute’s fashion color report as the base along with other colors utilized by the fashion houses and designers.

According to the Pantone the color pallet is a unity of strength, confidence and complexity led by the Blue family and followed by earth tones and exuberant pops of vibrant colors, all of them working well to bring about a tad more tranquility and optimism around.

In my current shoot based on winter I have tried to incorporate all these suggestions and forecasts regarding the trends in vogue. Here I have taken the earthy color pallet for the garments with a vibrant color accessory. In  the beginning  of the season light pastel colors can be utilized and as season progresses  the colors can change into darker and vibrant tones. Keeping in mind the minimalistic styling, color pallet and reducing the heavy layers of winter clothing, this look is being created. Where tailor made overcoats, and slim fit pants along with colorful accessory is complementing the whole ensemble.
