Appearance of the skin has been directly linked to the perception of health and vitality. That’s why having a good skin specialist is really important. But it's not that easy to find the perfect skin specialist. It takes a lot of discoveries and work. Along with friendliness, the experience of the skin specialist matters as well.
We all want a skin specialist who pays enough attention to our skin concerns, listens to us and helps us in exploring all the options which can make the appearance of our skin better. We don’t really want a skin expert who is simply pushing us for medication and is not willing to educate us about the conditions and treatment plans. And since I get many enquiries about good skin specialists in Qatar, I thought of introducing you to Dr ALI SOUEID from ALFARDAN MEDICAL WITH NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE. .
Dr Ali Soueid is a United kingdom general medical council certified Plastic surgeon. Clinically, Dr Soueid focuses on using the latest technologies and the brands with the best quality and the safest profiles, to provide the best and the most practical aesthetic treatments. He provides both non-surgical and surgical solutions when it comes to rejuvenation, reconstruction of shapes of forms.
At AMNM, Dr Soueid provides many non-surgical treatments including injectables, lasers, topical peels, mesotherapies, thread lifting, and platelet rich plasma PRP for hair and skin. Aesthetic surgical treatments include face, breast and body augmentation, contouring and surgical body tightening, as well as the treatment of scars and skin lesions, including reconstruction if needed.
When I first met Dr Ali, the thing I liked the most about him was that he was a very calm and gentle person and gave you the vibes of a friendly doctor whom you could share all your skin-related problems with. Someone who would pay enough attention to all your problems and concerns.
He is the type of skin specialist who doesn’t mind taking a lot of time to educate you about your skin condition and what all treatments can work for you and how it all works. I believe it’s a blessing to find a doctor who pays attention to your skin concerns and is interested in making you feel comfortable and confident about your skin.
I was advised a CARBON LASER TREATMENT by Dr. Soueid. I wasn’t sure about it as I had never tried it before but he explained it to me in details; about how it was going to help reduce the appearance of large open pores on my face and also about how it would improve the texture of my skin.
Since I also had sun damage and skin pigmentation around my cheeks, he said that this treatment would give me good results. Since Dr Soueid had already impressed me with his knowledge and expertise, without any further delay, I thought of giving this treatment a try and honestly, the results I saw were amazing!
In just 3 days, my skin was looking much more smoother and healthier. I could see a huge difference in my pores as they were visibly reduced.
Now, iam taking more skin treatments with the guidance of Dr Ali and I can’t wait to share the details about my before-and-after treatment results.
I also asked Dr Soueid to share some of his expertise with the readers of this blog and he actually shared some awesome tips which would benefit all of us.
Go through all the tips shared by Dr. Soueid below. Iam pretty sure you're gonna find them very useful.
- Eat well: You are what you eat. Your skin needs nourishment, in particular Zinc, Vitamin A and Vitamin E. so eat skin friendly foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and blueberries.
2. Sun protection: The single most common cause of looking aged is sun exposure. Protect yourself from the sun by using physical barriers like hats or a good physical sunscreen. Avoid chemical based sunscreens with chemicals like Oxybenzone, Benzophenone and Octinoxate.
3. Right skin care regime: Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize. Use Water soluble cleaners to keep your skin from drying out. A skin toner controls the PH of the skin- you can use natural products, try rosewater, an organic skin toner. Moisturize day and night to protect your skin from getting dry. Use your fingers to massage rather than a cotton bud. A cotton bud can be abrasive to the skin and also will soak up most of the product.
4. Skin boosters: Have you tried skin boosters? If not, you are missing a trick. Skin boosters contain hyaluronic acids (HA), the material that is present in all our cells. By injecting HA into the dermis (deeper layer of the skin), it locks in the moisture in your skin, making it feel and look tighter, brighter and more youthful. Results will last up to 9 months.
5. PRP/Meso cocktails: many of us have heard of PRP (platelet rich plasma). PRP once injected, the platelets within get activated, releasing growth factors. These little proteins stimulate the processes to make new collagen. However did you know, that by adding mesotherapy products like vitamins, you utilize a process called biorejuvenation to deliver a higher impact. The same growth factors that stimulate collagen production also make cells leaky, and so these vitamins can sneak into the cells, delivering a more effective treatment for pigmentation, brightening or just hydration.
A doctor-and-patient relationship should be very personal and should contain an effective two-way communication. Both have to listen and speak their minds in order to set goals and address concerns on both sides. Going to an underqualified skin specialist can potentially cause: Permanent disfigurement of your skin, unnecessary cosmetic procedures, a higher cost of treatment or a lack of full attention from the doctor in the case of emergencies.
So, make sure you choose your skin specialist wisely. And if you are looking for one, then I would highly recommend DR. ALI SOUEID at ALFARADAN MEDICAL WITH NORTH WESTERN MEDICINE.
